Margaret Alice Baumgardner

Margaret Alice (Rudge) Baumgardner, age 91, of Charlottesville, VA formerly of Johnstown, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. She was born in Johnstown, PA on May 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice Rudge. She was the dearly beloved wife of 56 years of the late Robert Lawrence Baumgardner, whom she married on January 5, 1947 and who died in 2003. Also preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, and Ed Rudge. Surviving are her brothers, Duane of Fairfax, VA, and Allen of Folsom, CA; her children: Ricky of Charlottesville, VA. Mark of Winona Lake, IN, Darl of Santa Rosa, CA, Denise of Woodbridge, VA, and Bryon also of Charlottesville, VA., and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received by family at the Conemaugh Church of the Brethren. one hour before the memorial service scheduled for Saturday at 3p.m. Following the service her ashes will be interred next to her husband in the Headrick Union Cemetary 233 E Jackson St; Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
