She came to Waukegan in 1926 and has lived in her Waukegan home for the past 70 years. She was united in marriage to the late Michael A. Burger at Christ Episcopal Church on June 7, 1930 by Dean Ganster and they remained members of Christ Church from that time. She worked at Johns Manville from 1926 to 1930 and also worked as a housekeeper for over 35 years.
Margery is survived by a daughter, Margery E. Marble of Chicago, IL; five nephews and also two nieces and a nephew in Ireland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael on May 15, 1966 and by 10 brothers and sisters.
