| Sources | [S8] Information from an informant - Auskunft eines Informanten - Information d'un informateur.Hi Ursula

I have some more updates for you.
ID I14200: Gertrude Mary Allmann and Clifford John Branigan: My mom
lived with Gertrude when she went to business college and mom keeps in
touch with all of Gertrude's children. Gertrude and Cliff have 4
 children, not 2.

Mary Lou Branigan is the oldest (I don?t have birth dates yet). She
married a man named Runeborg and they have four children, Ron, ???, Nancy
and Barb. Mary Lou and her husband are deceased, but we are hoping that
her children come to the reunion - Ron lives nearby.

Susan is the second child. She married a man named James Eikenberry.
They are both still alive and we are hoping they come to the reunion.
They also have 4 children, though mom can't remember their names.

Katherine (id# I46824) is the third child. All your info is correct.
Her husband is deceased, but she is still alive and lives near. We hope
to see her too at the reunion

The youngest is Gertrude (id# I46818) - though everyone calls her
"Trudie". She and Dick are still alive and we hope to see them. I had
the chance to meet them last year at the funeral of their youngest son
William or "Bill" (id# I46823). Here is the link to his obituary
 http://www.startribune.com/sports/preps/122861898.html?refer=y. He died
24May2011 in Fridley, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The next update is for Raymond Bernard Allmann (id# I14218) and Lydia
Lenzen Allmann (id# I14221). Ray and Lyd lived 2 blocks from my
parents' house and Ray was one of my favorites - he was a real jokester!
Your chart is fine except you are missing one child. Margaret or "Peggy"
was born between John "Jack" and Lee.

We visited with Marilyn (id# I14224) and Dick (id# I14225) Allmann about
18 months ago when we were in SanDiego, California where they live with
their families. Shortly after our visit Dick died. Here is the link to
his obituary which gives info on his birth and death dates as well as a
 list of his children.

Ray's daughter Charlotte (is# I14247) is married to a man named Charles or
"Chuck" Bock. They live near and we are hoping to see them at the
reunion. Charlotte told me that she has a son who is very interested in
genealogy, so I'm hoping to meet him too and get some good updates on
 their family.

Anna Marie Allmann (id# I14182) is married to a man named Larry Zehnder.
We are trying to find them and may have located them...

My mom's father, William George Lipp (id# I14241) was born in Waconia,
Carver County, MN. All remaining info is correct. His father was
Gaudenz Lipp (b. 5 Jun 1841, d. 2 Apr 1882) Gaudenz was born in Germany
and died in Waconia, Carver County, Minnesota - he is buried in St. Joseph
Catholic Cemetary. Gaudenz married Krecentia Lipp (yes, her maiden name
was also Lipp. The story is that the two of them met on the ship while
immigrating to the USA and started talking to try to figure out if they
 were related!) Krecentia (b. 16 Jun 1836, d. 27 Jan 1921) was born in
Germany and died in Waconia. She is buried alongside her husband in St.
Joseph Cemetery. After Gaudenz died, Krecentia remarried a man named
 Dirks.

Gaudenz and Krecentia Lipp had 3 sons, Edward (b. 5 Sep 1868, d. 21 Mar
 1889), Emil (b. 24 Mar 1870, d. 12 Nov 1918) and my grandfather William.
All three were born in Waconia, Carver County, Minnesota. They are all
buried at the same plot in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetary in Waconia, Carver
County, Minnesota. Neither Emil or Edward were married.

Finally - updates on my own family: My mom, Katherine Elizabeth Lipp
(id# I14243) was born on 3 Sep 1917 in Princeton, Milacs County, Minnesota
and my dad Wayne Angell Hall (id# 14244) was born in Opheim, Valley
 County, Montana.

My siblings: Kathleen Mary's (id# I14814) husband is Robert "Bob" David
Jamieson. They have 2 sons, Robert "Rob" David Jamieson, jr (b. 17 Nov
1969) and Patrick Edwin Jamieson (b. 1 Dec 1973). Rob is married to
Sarah Marchand (b. 27 Jan ????) and they have twin daughters, Ava
Katherine and Gabrielle Marie (b. 15May2008) Patrick is married to
Laura ??? and they have a son Finnian (b. 3Oct2005) and a daughter Sylvia
 (b. 25May2007)

My brother Bill (id# I14815) has the 2 girls as shown on your chart
however Bill and Patricia Kelly are no longer married. They divorced
around 5 years ago - I'll need to get the dates for you.

My brother James "Jim" (id# I14245) is married to Kathleen Huddle and they
 have 2 sons. Michael (b. 18May1882) and David (b. 21Aug1983).

My sister Rita Clare (id# I14816) is married to Timothy Francis Plick and
they have a daughter Katherine Ann (b. 21 Jul 1991) and a son Timothy jr.
 (b. 12 Jul 1994)

That takes care of this batch of updates. I am scanning boxes and boxes
of old photos that mom had stashed away. Before the reunion I hope to
have them assembled in a slide show. Not sure yet what format is best
for sending them to you, but we can figure this out. I've attached a
few photos for your pleasure! Also I am photographing records and
tombstones and other validation type stuff. If you are interested in
that stuff I can figure out how to get that to you too.

I've attached a photo for you. This is an old family reunion that was
planned when Donald Allmann (id# I14180) returned from WWII - I'm guessing
it's fall of 1945. My mom is in the middle of the middle row - she has
on a black shirt. Her mother, Mary Allmann Lipp is in the middle row,
far right - flowered dress with a dark sweater. The back row from left
to right are: unknown, unknown, Clifford Branigan, Hannah Allmann,
William Lipp, Donald Allmann, unknown, Henry Allmann (partially blocked),
unknown, George Allmann, Seb Allmann, John Lethert, unknown, unknown,
 unknown, Philo Allmann.

 All the best!
