Kochert Died: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 Bernadine E. Kochert, 78, Corydon, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. Born July 1, 1929, in Crandall, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Barbara Ferber Hoehn. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Kochert; a son, Glenn Kochert; a daughter, Janet Kochert; and a grandson, Chad Deatrick. Survivors include five sons, Dennis Kochert of Georgetown, David Kochert of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Joe, Mark and Stephen Kochert, all of Corydon; a daughter, Sharon Deatrick of Corydon; three brothers, Raymond, Herbert and Norbert Hoehn, all of New Salisbury; a sister, Mary Louise Hoehn of New Salisbury; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: Thursday, Feb. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 15, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 16, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Funeral: Saturday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery in Bradford. Pallbearers: Lonnie and John Deatrick, Jason Lang, and Joey, Denny and Dustin Kochert.
