James A. Belmonte was born July 2, 1926 in Kent, OH the son of Louis /Luigi Belmont and Seraphina Scipony /Schipani. He died Wednesday May 27, 2015 age 88 in St. Joseph Care Center, Louisville, Ohio, a resident of Louisville, Ohio.
His wife, Joan M. Belmonte (nee Trares) was born Sept. 8, 1927 in Suffield, Ohio the daughter of Carl and Marie (Rhodes) Trares. She died Tuesday May 15, 2007 in Aultman Hospital age 75, after an extended illness, a resident of Louisville, OH. Her 1st husband, Ernest A. Wise died Jan. 21, 1973

James graduated from Kent High School & was a Louisville resident since 1974. He was a salesman for Lifetime Cookware. He was a Boy Scout Leader, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, loved gardening, cooking and birds.
Joan enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville.

James' funeral was Saturday May 30, 2015 at Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton, Fr. Benson Okpara officiating. Joan's Mass of Christian Burialwwas at St. Louis Catholic Church, Msgr. Ken Miller officiating, Arrangements by Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. Both were buried in the St. Louis Catholic Church parish cemetery.
