Funeral services for Myrol James Eisenbarth, age 54, of Elgin, ND will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hope Congregational Church in Elgin with Pastor Ellis Ryherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Hope Congregational Cemetery in Elgin.
Myrol Eisenbarth was born January 19, 1954 in Bismarck, ND to Otto and Stella (Bender) Eisenbarth. He was raised in Washington State and Oregon. At the age of 13 Myrol and his family moved to the rural New Leipzig, ND area where they farmed and ranched. He attended the New Leipzig High School. Myrol married Rhonda Fischer on September 10, 1977 and to that marriage two sons were born; Ryan and Gary.
On April 16, 1993 he married Sharlene Schroeder and to that marriage a son, Jesse, was born. He joined two stepchildren, Anita and Terry.
Over the years Myrol farmed, ranched, custom combined, baled, farmed alongside his friend Alroy Hochhalter, worked for Ulrich Excavating, ran his own semi trucking operation and in his last 15 years, worked for Coffin Butte Farms, south of New Leipzig.
Myrol enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycle, playing catch, boxing with his boys, shooting guns and playing in pool tournaments. He had a passion for all kinds of music which included listening and playing along with his guitar. Myrol loved classic vehicles, being outdoors and enjoyed watching westerns and comedy shows. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and was anxiously waiting for the arrival of his grandchild in June.
He always called his boys, "My 3 Sons". Myrol and Shar had many memories together that will last forever.
Myrol passed away Friday evening, April 11, 2008 at the Jacobson Memorial Hospital in Elgin.
He is now holding his grandchild, Peyton James Eisenbarth close to his heart in Heaven and playing some fine music with his dad.
Grateful for having shared in his life are his wife, Sharlene Eisenbarth, Elgin; mother, Stella Eisenbarth, Elgin; three sons, Ryan and his wife Karey Eisenbarth, their child Eli and a baby expected in June 2008, Lincoln, ND, Gary Eisenbarth, Bismarck, ND and Jesse Eisenbarth, Elgin, ND; one step son, Terry Nagel, Heil, ND; one step daughter, Anita and her husband Aaron Anderson, their children Amanda and Andrea, Elgin, ND; sisters Darla Bauer and family, Bismarck, ND and Glenda Eisenbarth and family, Bismarck ND; half brother, LonDel Eisenbarth and family, New England, ND; and half-sisters, Annette and Dennis Braun and family, Mandan, ND, Sharon Myhre and family, Oregon, and Londa Schwartz and family, Bismarck, ND.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otto; a child in infancy; sister Belinda Eisenbarth in infancy; grandson Peyton Eisenbarth and grandparents and great grandparents.
