Eula Sheahan Logden-Lewis Birth: Feb. 21, 1915 Death: Mar. 11, 2008 Eulala Sheahan Longden Lewis ELGIN - Eulala Sheahan Longden Lewis, 93, of Elgin, formerly of Taylorville, died at 8:10 p.m. March 11, 2008, at Sherman West Court Nursing Home in Elgin. She was born Feb. 21, 1915, in Blue Mound, the daughter of William H. and Gladys Lenora (Sill) Sheahan. She married Arthur H. Longden on Sept. 7, 1935, in Blue Mound; he preceded her in death. She married Herbert P. Lewis in 1972 in Taylorville; he also preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers, Edward Thomas Sheahan and William D. Sheahan. Mrs. Lewis lived most of her life in Taylorville and was a retired homemaker. She was a member of Davis Memorial Christian Church. Surviving are her son, Terry Lee Longden of Bunker Hill; brothers, Robert D. Sheahan of Mosinee, Wis., and Patrick H. Sheahan of Algonquin; nieces, Mary Kathleen Conway of Galva, Sharon K. Jones of Grimes, Iowa, and Pamela Susan Pachl of Hendersonville, N.C.; and nephews, Edward Thomas Sheahan II of Waukesha, Wis., Michael David Sheahan of Collinville and Robert D. Sheahan Jr. of Mosinee. Graveside rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Taylorville with the Rev. Dick Wamsley officiating.
