Sook, Ann M., age 77, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2017. She was born September 29, 1940 in Wichita, Kansas to Clinton and Mary (McKinster) Eshom. The Eshom's lived on the North side of Wichita and Ann attended Park Elementary, Horace Mann Intermediate and North High schools. She also attended Friends University for a semester. She had many occupations over the course her life. As a child she babysat, collected newspapers to sell with her brother and sold boxed greeting cards. In her adult years she worked for a medical office, was the pianist, organist, Sunday School Treasurer and church secretary for Calvary Presbyterian Church, a top sales Avon Representative, co-owner and manager of Rainbows End Card & Gift Shop in the 1980's and worked for Osco Drugs (now CVS) as a cashier in the 1990's. She is survived by her two children: Kimberly Sook, formerly of Topeka, KS and Brian (Dawn) Sook of Georgia; two grandchildren: Clinton and Lilly Sook and two sisters: Janet Hagen of Newton and Carol Carter of Wichita. Ann is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Donald Eshom. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 27 at the Cochran Mortuary Chapel of the Roses 1411 N. Broadway (parking off Market St.) Family requests memorials to Samaritan's Purse: PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
