  [S927] Obituary. OBIT - Lafayette Journal & Courier, Wednesday Evening, July 6, 1960, page 8, Col. 3 JOSEPH KLEIN DIES AT HOME Joseph E. Klein, 75, Lafayette businessman, died in his home, 511 South Twenty-Sixth, at 9:45 p.m., Tuesday. He was one of the owners of the Rapp and Klein Cigar company business at Fifth and Ferry streets. He had been ill five weeks and was hospitalized for a time recently. Born in Lafayette, he spent his life here and was married to Treca F. Norris in 1923. His wife died last Dec. 8th. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic church and BPO Elks 143. Surviving are a nephew, Joe Maslin of Lafayette, who was reared in the Klein home, and two sisters, Mrs. Hubert F.
