Rommel, 86, died at 3:05 p.m. yesterday at Kentucky Baptist Hospital after a long illness. Her home was at 2321 Hawthorne. She was the widow of Phillip F. Rommel Sr., a salesman for the old Fisher-Leas Manufacturing Company. He died in 1942. Survivors include a son, Phillip F. Rommel Jr., sales manager for the Llewellyn Laundry & Cleaners; two brothers, Joseph Devoto and William Devoto; four sisters, Mrs. Caroline Heim, Mrs. George Burger, Mrs. Florence Ballwey, and Miss Minett Devoto; one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
