Obituary - Barnesville Enterprise - J. Robert Hunkler: J. Robert Hunkler, 69, a resident of 62288 Hillcrest Road, Barnesville, died at Barnesville Hospital November 14, 1983. He was born in Barnesville, February 1, 1914, a son of the late John and Mary Diegmiller Hunkler. He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church at Barnesville, and Barnesville Elks Lodge No. 1699. He attended Ohio State University and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Surviving are his wife, Margarert Boston Hunkler; a son Robert J. Hunkler of Columbus; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Peggy) Soukup of St. Clairsville; and a granddaughter. Memorial services were conducted Thursday at the Assumption Catholic Church with Rev. Father Charles Mascolino officiating. Burial made in the Crestview Cemetery. The Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
