He was a retired purchasing agent for the State of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Lucille Landefeld. Surviving are one son, Dale Landefeld of Cleveland; one daughter, Mrs. James (Donna) Liptak of Byesville; one stepson, Darrell Hopp of Norfolk, Virginia; one step daughter, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Bell of Pleasant City; one brother, Lawrence Landefeld of Woodsfield Route 3; two sisters, Mrs. Aaron (Martha) Brown of Woodsfield and Mrs. Lucille Wittmer of Barnesville; three grandchildren; seven step grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Reverend William Nelson officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
