He was dead on arrival at St. Anthony's Hospital at 11:50 a.m. Deputy Coroner William T. Kammerer said he died of a crushed skull. The boy's father, Norbert H. Kuprion, Sr., said his son was playing in the year while three young men who work for Kuprion were cutting grass and loading roofing shingles on a 1-1/2-ton truck. Driver Discovers Mishap John Key, 18; Cannons Lane, one of the youths, was backing the truck out of the yard when he felt a bump and discovered his left rear wheel had passed over the child. Key drove the boy to the hospital in a jeep. Kuprion, who meanwhile had run out of the house, held his son in his arms on the way there. Police placed a techinal charge of manslaughter against Key. Cutting grass at the time of accident were Junius Schvetto, 19, and Donald Etscorn, 18. They live at Kuprion's home. Key was preparing to drive the truckload of shingles to a farm at Liberty, KY, recently purchased by Kuprion. Brother, 2 Sisters Survive Other survivors include the boy's mother, Mrs. Mildred Kuprion; a brother, Norbert Kuprion, Jr.,17; two sisters, Betty Ann Kuprion, 15, and Sandra Kuprion, 7, and grandparents, Mrs. Charles Powell and Mrs. Anna Kuprion. The body is at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home.
