Mrs. Katherine Rosin, 79, who has resided here with her daughter, Mrs. Gust Sauther at 2904 Eighth avenue south for the last seven years, died in a local hospital at 1:36 p. m. Wednesday following an extended Illness due to cancer. Born in Russia Jan. 16, 1858, she was married there to George Rosin In 1883 and they came to the United States in 1888, first settling at Eureka, S. D. They moved to Hebron, N. D., in 1905, where Mr. Rosin died In 1914. She has been living here since 1930. Besides Mrs. Sauther, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Christine Helm of Billings, two brothers, John Neuhardt of Crow Rock, and Fred Neuhardt of Lodl, Cal., 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
