Mr. Yockey was a farmer and member of St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown.
He was born in Brown County Ohio, the son of the late Walter Allen and Mary Horsham Yockey. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles, and one sister, Lena Roush.
He is survived by his wife, Leora Schwallie Yockey of Russellville; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Connie Yockey and Randy and Angie Yockey, all of Russellville Ohio, and John and Donna Yockey of Georgetown Ohio; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Bob Ryan of Independence, Ky., Donna and Phil Kloenne of Burlington, Ky., Margaret and Pat Tuure of Columbus and Rita and Paul Polley of Russellville; one sister, Dorothy Holton of Ripley Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Clarence E. Yockey, 86, of Russellville, Ohio died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio.
Clarence was born January 17, 1920 in Brown County, Ohio, the son of the late Walter Allen and Mary (Horsham) Yockey.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles and his sister Lena Roush.
Clarence was a farmer and a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Leora (Schwallie) of Russellville; three sons, Roger and Connie Yockey, Russellville; John and Donna Yockey, Georgetown; Randy and Angie Yockey, Russellville; four daughters, Mary Ann and Bob Ryan, Independence; Donna and Phil Kloenne, Burlington; Margaret and Pat Tuure, Columbus, Ohio; and Rita and Paul Polley, Russellville; one sister, Dorothy Holton, Ripley; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, August 11, 2006 at the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown with Father John P. Fischer officiating.
Burial followed at the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville, Ohio.
Memorials may be made to the St. George Catholic Church, Russellville Life Squad, or the Russellville Fire Department.
Meeker Funeral Home in Russellville served the family.
