Dickey, 88, North Main Street, Woodsfield, died Monday, January 8, 1979, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born November 29, 1890, in Monroe County, Ohio, the son of the late William and Sadie Keevert. He was a former owner and operator of the Woodsfield Hatchery, a member of The Methodist Church, Woodsfield, and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 189, K of P Lodge, American Legion Post No. 87, World War I Veterans and the 40 & 8. Surviving are his wife, Clara Walt Dickey; one son, Dr. T.O.Dickey of Glen Dale; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas A. (Doris) Reese of Columbus; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held on Wednesday, January 10 in Woodsfield with Rev. Paul Price officiating. Burial was in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
