Obituary - Mathis Ferry, Bellaire & St. Clairsville, Ohio paper, April 12, 1981 - Esther Moore: Esther (Polly) Moore, 65, of 607 E. Main Street, Barnesville, died Friday in Barnesville Hospital. She was born January 22, 1916 in Barnesville, a daughter of Benjamin and Anna McGuire Hunkler. She was a member of Assumption Church, Barnesville; and was preceded in death by her husband, Borton Moore in 1973 and a brother. Surviving are three sons, Dan of Akron, Mike of Greencastle, Indiana, and Joe of Barnesville; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Linda) Mcleish of Marietta and Melissa Moore of New Philadelphia; three sisters, Mrs. A.C. Lynn and Mrs. Howard Shepherd, both of Barnesville and Mrs. Ruth Taylor of Wheeling; one brother, Louis Hunkler of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home, today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Asumption Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Masolino as celebrant. Burial in Assumption Cemetery, Barnesville. Rosary devotions this evening at 7. Memorial contributions may be made to Hutton Memorial Library, Barnesville, or the Ohio Lung Association.
