  [S927] Obituary. Salome ?Sally? Molleker Sally Molleker, 95, Hays, died Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Via Christi Villages in Hays. She was born April 12, 1919 in Catherine, Kansas the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Schukman) Ubert. On June 30, 1941 she married Leo Molleker in Hyacinth, Kansas. He died May 12, 1944. She was a housekeeper and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. Sally loved to visit with family and friends. Survivors include two brothers, Wilfred Ubert of Arvada, Colorado and Victor Ubert of Kansas City, KS, one sisters, Lillian Staab of Hays, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers, William, Alfonse, Robert, Walter, and Francis Ubert, Jr., and sisters, Ida Goetz, Hilda Jaques, and Eleanor Ross. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 19, 2014 at St. John?s Chapel at Via Christi Villages, 2225 Canterbury Drive. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine, or on Monday from 1:00 pm until service time at St. John?s Chapel at Via Christi Villages. A parish vigil service will be at 6:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Hays Medical Center, in care of the funeral home.
