  Irene E. Brooks 8/20/2008 MARION -- Irene E. Brooks, 91, died Monday, Aug, 18, 2008. She was born May 31, 1917, near Marion to Nees and Cora Penland Olsen. She was a bank teller. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Siebert, in 1953; second husband, Robert Brooks, in 1993; parents; three brothers; and six sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Robyn Mollecker, Marion; sister, Esther Dwyer, Marion; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, with the Rev. Phil Smith officiating. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Valley United Methodist Church or the St. Luke Foundation. ©Salina Journal
