MARY EDITH DORSEY, 92, formerly of Franklin Street, Bellaire, Ohio, died Monday, December 22, 2003 at Forest Hill Retirement Community, St. Clairsville, Ohio. She was born in Bellaire, Ohio on December 25, 1910, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Hartenstein) Glaser. She is a retired piano teacher and co-owner of Dorsey Piano and Organ Co., Bellaire, a musician with the Wheeling Symphony for 40 years and organist for St. John's Church, Bellaire. She was also a member of St. Mary's Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Dorsey; one brother, Robert Glaser and one sister, Mary Aquinata. Surviving are one step-son, R. William Dorsey and his wife, Nancy R. of Martins Ferry. Funeral services were held Monday, December 27, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Thomas Magary officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire.
