Wesley Theodore Weber
Wesley T. Weber, 90, of 28968 SR 78, Lewisville, died Aug. 24, 1999, at the Harmar Place Rehabilitation and Extended Care, Marietta. He was born near Lewisville, on Feb. 23, 1909, a son of the late William and Gertrude Claus Weber.
He was a former employee of the Timken Roller Bearing Co. in Canton, a former school bus driver, a former Summit Township Trustee in Monroe County and a retired farmer. He was also a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, near Lewisville, and a member of the Farm Bureau.
Surviving are his wife, Martha Lee Pennell Carpenter Weber, whom he married on Sept. 13, 1969; three daughters, Mrs. Norman (Darlene) Mercer, of Marietta, Ruth Ann Rader of Zanesville, Mrs. Gary (Wanda) Seagraves of Springfield; two sons, Vernon Weber and wife, Louise of Huntsville, Richard Weber and wife, Mary Jo, Cambridge; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Lester (Anna Lee) Piatt of Whipple, Mrs. Doug (Ruth) Earley, Marietta; two step-sons, Byron Carpenter and wife, Jo Ann of Venice, Fla., Wallace Carpenter and wife, Judy of Lewisville; two sisters, Marcella Weber and Margaret Weber, both of Lewisville; a brother, William Weber, Brooksville, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; 14 step-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Hoff Weber, on July 4, 1968; a son, Robert Weber; two brothers Alfred Weber and George Weber; a sister, Emma Lent; a step-grandchild.
Friends were received at the Watters Funeral Home, Aug. 26, where funeral services were held Aug. 27, with Rev. Richard Wilson and Rev. William Worcester III, officiating. Burial followed in the Middle Church Cemetery, near Lewisville.
