  [S927] Obituary. Lewis W. Matz Sr., age 73, Woodsfield, Ohio died Sunday July 8, 2012 at the Wetzel County Hospital New Martinsville, West Virginia. He was born in Woodsfield February 14, 1939 a son of the late Wallace & Elizabeth Sterla Matz. He was a retired Dairy Farmer and a member of the Woodsfield Church of Christ where he served as deacon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one infant sister Sally Matz. He is survived by his wife of 46 years; Shirley Auten Matz of Woodsfield, two sons; Dave & Tammy Matz of Lewisville, and Lewis (Ogg) & Lisa Matz Jr. of Woodsfield, one daughter; Allison & Mike Hansen of Woodsfield, nine grandchildren; Kourtney & Eric Yonley, Benjamin Matz, Lewis Matz III, Taylor Hansen, Zachary Matz, Daniel Matz, Kaitlyn Matz, Makenna Matz, and Gavin Matz, one great grandson; Kyler Yonley, one brother; Ronald Matz of Silverton, Washington, two sisters; Barbara Howell of Wooster, Ohio, and Patty Wharton of Denver, North Carolina. Friends will be received from 5 ? 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday July 12, 2012 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Paul Eddy and Keith Jones officiating. Interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield.
