HANNAH ZWICK, 79, WOODSFIELD, DIES WOODSFIELD, Feb. 25 - Mrs. Hannah Zwick, 79, widely known Monroe county native, died late Wednesday night [24 Feb 1954] at her home, 339 South Main Street, after a short illness. She was the widow of Henry Zwick, who died in 1934 and before coming here five years ago, resided in the Miltonsburg community. She was a daughter of John and Caroline Baker Burkhart and was a member of the St. John’s church of Miltonsburg. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Clarence Kress of Woodsfield, Mrs. Charles Elliott and Mrs. John Moore, both of Cleveland, Mrs. William Davis of Mansfield, and Mrs. Paul Huntsman of Cambridge; two sons, Edmund of Zanesville and Franklin of Cleveland; a brother, Joseph Burkhart of this community, and one sister, Mrs. Clark English of Reiners Mil The body will remain at the Schumacher funeral home until requiem high mass is offered in St. Sylvester Catholic church at 9 o’clock Saturday morning. Msgr. J. C. Mehler will officiate and burial will be in St. Johns cemetery at Miltonsburg.
