Carl Andrew Zwick

Newspaper April 2, 1998 (Carl Andrew Zwick -born 1918 in Lewisville, Ohio; died 1998 in Pompano Beach, Fla.) - Services for Carl Andrew Zwick, 80, of 311 NW 48th Court, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton-Schrader funeral home in Alliance, Ohio, with the Rev. Jeffrey Mickler officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 11 a. m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Zwick died at 4:55 p. m. Monday at his home. A son of Charles and Gertrude (Crock) Zwick, he was born March 14, 1918, in Lewisville, Ohio. A former resident of the Alliance area, he had lived in Pompano Beach 24 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II serving at Pearl Harbor. Mr. Zwick was a member of George D. Worth American Legion Post 574.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Doris Ann (Gregory); a son, Charles R. Zwick of Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Carol A. Johnson of Pompano Beach; and Deborah S. Rowell of Cumming, Ga.; a brother, Charles Zwick of Caldwell, Ohio; four sisters, Ella Smithberger of Lewisville, Gertrude Sorg of Mount Perry, Ohio, Mary Kress of Alliance, and Edan Bjorkman of Sebring, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
