Obituary - Barnesville Enterprise - Sylvester Hunkler: Sylvester Hunkler, a well known Barnesville man died at Cambridge, Saturday, December 24th, from a complication of deseases. He had been in poor health, but had been able to work until a short time before his last illness. The decedent was forty years of age, and was born near Malaga, where he lived until the family removed to this place about thirty-two years ago. He married Miss Bessie Garvy in 1907. Sylvester Hunkler, until going to Cambridge, a few weeks ago, had been with the well known Hunkler Brothers? Bakery and Restaurent. His connection with the restaurant gave him a wide acquaintance, not only with local people, but also with the traveling public who respected him and always found him a man worthy of the esteem in which he was held. Quiet and unassuming, he had but little to say, going quietly about his work with the determination that nothing should be left undone that would help toward the success of the business. He is survived by his wife, and a young son, Paul Hunkler, his mother, Mrs Barbara Hunkler, a sister, Mrs. Lucy Hunkler, and five brothers, Frank, William, Clem, John, and Charlie Hunkler. Funeral Services were held Tuesday morning, cconducted by Rev. William Robins of the Church of the Assumption. Burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
