Obituary, The Barnesville Enterprise, January 5, 1961, P. 4, Column 1, Section 2: Frank G. Hunkler, Long Ill, Claimed - Frank G. Hunkler, resident of 332 West Main Street, passed away at Barnesville Hospital, Monday evening, January 2, at 6:30. Mr. Hunkler had been in failing health for sometime. He was born December 13, 1870 at Miltonsburg, a son of Michael and Barbara Burkhart Hunkler. In 1920 he was married to Clara R. Getsinger. He had been a member of I.O.O.F. Lodge for 50 years. Surviving are his widow of the home, three brothers, Clem H. Hunkler of Dennison, William Hunkler of Barnesville, Charles Hunkler of Canton and one sister, Mrs. Lucy Lynn of Barnesville. The body was taken to the Campbell Funeral Home on North Chestnut Street where funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o?clock. Rev. Francis Smith of Bethesda will officiate and interment will be made in the Southern Cemetery.
