Survivors include wife of 23 years, Naomi; children, Roy Parrish and wife Connie, Ralph Parrish and fiance Idajane Martinez, Patricia Giese and husband Richard, Leroy F. Parrish Jr., all of Lincoln; stepdaughters, Donna Begley and Husband Kevin of Peralto, N.M., Judy (Shively) Riley of Crete, Susan (Shively) Kovar of Crete; stepson, Ron Shively and wife Anderea of Beatrice; brothers, Harland of Lincoln and Albert (Ed) of Beatrice; sisters, Hazel (Susie) and Steve Percival of Wymore, Helen Griffin of Lincoln. Leroy is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eldon (Butch); and granddaughter, Tracy Shively. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, at 1:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Crete. Visitation will be held Saturday at the Church from noon until time of funeral. Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cometary in Dewitt. Memorials can be directed to the Nebraska Lions Foundation or Grace United Methodist Church of Crete. Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete is in charge of arrangements.
