In honor of Elmer?s wishes, private family services will be held. Elmer Rudolf was born February 9, 1934 to Albert and Magdalena (Wanner) Rudolf. He attended country school and worked on the family farm located south of Wishek. Elmer was self-taught and could discuss many different topics. He could talk politics and had interesting views on everything. Elmer worked very hard all of his life. He lived simply and was very generous to those who asked. Elmer never married. Elmer entered the Wishek Living Center in February 2019 and resided there until his death. Elmer is survived by his sister, Leona Dittus of Lehr; two nieces, Lyla (Dittus) Thompson of Bismarck and Michelle (Carlson) Sharbono of Devils Lake; one nephew, Joel Carlson of Devils Lake. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Delores Guthmiller and Marvelene Carlson; a niece and nephew, Deborah (Dittus) Littau and Randy Guthmiller.
