He was a member of McGraw Fire Department for 20 years, and a member of Borodino Fire Department and Destroyer Escort Sailors Association. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: Two sons, William of Dryden and James F. "Jeff" of Homer; a brother, Theodore W. of Cortland. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bertini-Riccardi Funeral Home Chapel.
