Visitation is from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home in Gilmore City.Daniel was born September 20, 1960 to parents, Murry and Donna (Peltz) Fort. He received his education in Gilmore City where he graduated from the Gilmore City High School. Daniel farmed with his father and worked at Electrolux in Webster City.Survivors include his father Murry, Gilmore City, and his brothers, Michael (Kathy) of Fort Dodge, and Gary (Cindy) of Fort Worth, Tex. He was preceded in death by his mother Donna in 2002. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Gilmore City.
