Peltz, 87, of Fort Dodge, went home to her Lord on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Tompkins Memorial Health Center.A service honoring Lucile's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jerry Peltz and the Rev. Dr. Nancy A. De Vries officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. The visitation is Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.Lucile Josephine Law was the thirteenth child born to John and Maude (Gletty) Law of Clare, IA on September 19, 1925. She graduated from Manson High School. Lucile married Louis Peltz on April 4, 1944. They were married 61 years before Louie's death in 2006. Louis and Lucile were engaged in farming in Webster County until Louis retired in 1986. Lucile was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Dodge where she served as an elder and attended women's circle and Mariner's group. She was a member of TTT of Badger.Lucile was preceded in death by her husband Louis, her son Rickey, two grandchildren, her parents, and twelve brothers and sisters. Left to cherish Lucile's memory are her children: Alan (Nancy) Peltz, Bettendorf, IA; Jerry (Jill) Peltz, Lee's Summit, MO; Randy (Colleen) Peltz, Ringsted, IA; and Linda Peltz, widow of Rickey; nine grandchildren: Jennifer Martinez, Indianapolis; Benjamin Peltz, Indianapolis; Lisa (Rusty) Russell, Omaha, NE; Melanie Peltz, Omaha, NE; Christy (Paul) Carrier, Omaha, NE; Matthew (Katie) Peltz, Minneapolis, MN; Emily (Scott) Gaskill, Iowa City, IA; Jennessa (Russell) Crosswy, Huntsville, AL; Amanda Peltz, Nashville, TN; twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
