She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 305, The White Shrine of Jerusalem Galileau Shrine 34, and was a past president of TPA Auxiliary Post O, all of Pottsville. She was the widow of the late Reuben R. Sauther, who died in 1993. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jacquelyn Freeman, and was the last member of her immediate family.
