January 14, 1939From her son, Robert Koepper: "Mom was born Mary Emma Morgan, 1909, October 17 I think (I always thought she was born in 1910 but her marker says 1909.). She was born in Madison, Indiana, as far as I know. The Morgan family moved to Indianapolis in Grandpa Morgan's horse and wagon in the 19 teens. Mom remembered sleeping under the wagon and eating corn out of nearby fields."Her first marriage to Thomas Davidson ended in divorce. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Tommy Davidson (1929-2002).Her second marriage of 46+ years was to Hubert O Koepper. That marriage was blessed with two sons: Robert and David.After Hubert died, she married Arthur R Sheats in 1986. He was a person she had dated as a young woman.To quote Robert again, "She was a tough lady, a fine mother, wife, and church person ." She was also a wonderful, loving aunt!
