She was 85 years old.Mrs. Scott, wife of the late Howard J. Scott, lived at 1116 Fairview Avenue. She leaves a daughter, Katherine Marie Scott.Mrs. Scott served as teacher for 20 years in the old Pioneer School before coming to the San Jose system and the district has joined Almaden Union District. Seven of her nine brothers and sisters are or have been well known Santa Clara County educators. They are Emil R. Buchser, superintendent of Santa Clara schools and member of the County Board of Education; Herman E. Buchser, principal of Willow Glen School and Edwin Markham Junior High School in Willow Glen; Anna Pohlman, principal of Lincoln Glen School; Genevieve Robidoux, Teacher in San Jose scools; Lloyd Buchser, teacher at San Leandro High School, Emma Holthous and Dorothy Christiansen, former teachers of Santa Clara and Mt. Pleasant districts. In addition, she leaves a brother, William J.
