He was a retired Electrical Engineer from Ohio Power Company; a member of the Bridgeport Masonic Lodge #181, a US Marine Veteran; and a member of the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Martha Jane Rodgers and a grandson Michael Allen Seese. Alvin is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Mary Miller Seese; sons: Dr. Dennis R. Seese of Belleview, Fla., David A. (Leslie) Seese of Lafayette, LA., Thomas A. (Lisa) Seese of Baton Rouge, LA., a daughter Nancy A. Dunfee of Bellaire; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation and services were private at the convenience of the family at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio. Interment was held at Belmont Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Memorial Contributions may be made to Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, or Sunset Heights Fire Dept.
