She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Meisner; brother, James E. Sauer; and sister, Juanita Kaelin. She is survived by her sons, Theodore Meisner, Houston "Paul" Meisner (Hildegard), and Gilbert Meisner; daughters, Odetta Brutscher, Carlene Graft (James), Laquita Sims (Denny), and Opal Renneisen; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2011 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 3042 Hikes Lane, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with a prayer service taking place at 7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to La Ermita-The Hermitage, Ted's Spirituality Program.
