His education was received in Russia and he spent several years in army training and served in the Russo-Japanese war. In 1912 they came to the United States with three children, Gottlieb, John and Carrie, and settled in SD. After four years they moved to a farm near Marsh where they homesteaded, until 1926, then moving into Dawson county. In 1943 they purchased a home in Fallon and have made their home in that town, where he has been active in the church. Mr Lassle died of heart disease at the Terry hospital Sunday evening, December 1, 1946 at the age of 70 years. He had been ailing for several years, but was confined to his bed during the past month.Gottlieb leave to mourn, his wife, one brother, Fred Lassle of Lehr ND. He is also survived by seven children who are Gottlieb of Glendive; John of Billings,; Fred of Glendive; and Christ of Fallon; and August of Sedalia MT.
