She married Harry Kary on September 16, 1941. She was a homemaker, poker player, jack of all trades, but especially a wonderful wife and mother.Rose is survived by five daughters, Carleen Kary of Buckley, Patty Kutch of Yakima, Marlys (Marvin) Wright of Federal Way, Debbie (Steve) Carter of Yakima, and Lisa (Bill) Roberts of Richland; three sisters, Marie Ereth of Carnation, Loretta Maas of Hazen, North Dakota, and Annie Doll of Gig Harbor; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. For the past several years Rose has had a very special friend Alvin Unruh, and the couple have had many wonderful shared memories together.Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Monica Mauer; her husband Harry Kary on February 14, 2003; a son, Delmar Kary; a grandson Shawn Baker and by five sisters and two brothers.Mom, you have and will always be our strength, our bond, and inspiration for family. You're loved so very much. You're our special "Rose". You will be missed, but never forgotten.Viewing will be from noon until 7 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2009, at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.
