John Thomas Seibel was the second child of John N & Grace L Sayre Seibel. His older sister was Doris C Seibel (White) (Rose). John & Doris Seibel were born on Linden Ave, Jersey City, NJ.
John T's mother Grace died of pneumonia/influenza 17 Oct 1918 shortly after John T was born. John T Seibel was baptized 20 Oct 1918 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jersey City in the morning. In the afternoon, John T mother, Grace Sayer Seibel was buried in Bay View Cemetery in Jersey City.
This left John N Seibel with two small children to raise. John N Seibel was married 1 December 1920 to Johanna Weisert. From this union, Warren Charles and Robert Frederick Seibel were born.
John T Seibel first wife was Constance "Penny" Drake (Born 26 Sept 1923)from White Plains, NY in 1942. It was a short marriage and this couple had no children.
John T. Seibel second marriage was to Helen Southwick Seibel from Hoboken/West New York. This couple were married in the Catholic Church and had two children. John T. Seibel supported his family as a Bus Driver. John T never served in World War 2. John died at Christ Hospital in Jersey City.
The grave cost $325 and the couple lived at 32 Greenville Avenue in Jersey City, NJ on 8 April 1985.
