He came to this country at the age of 1 0 and spent his younger years in Brooklyn. He attended the Bloom tf nut College and Theological Seminary,, graduating in 1896. His first charge was at Mt. Pulaski, 111., in 1 897, and he came to Jamaica in 1809. Under -Mr. Rtoebener's direction the chnrrh- made rapid strides, A substantial addition to the building was erected and the entire church was renovated at a cost of $5,000. A new organ was installed and the church property was cleared of debt.
