NORCATUR -- Dorothy A. Breiner, 69, Norcatur, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007.
Mrs. Breiner was born Dorothy A. Carroll on July 10, 1937, in Norton. She was postmaster of the Norcatur Post Office.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reid L. Breiner, in 1996.
Survivors include a son, Jason Reid of Norcatur; four daughters, Julie Legg of McCook, Neb., Jacque Eklund of Hutchinson, and Jean McMullen and Jennifer McKenna, both of Norton; four brothers, Francis Carroll of Amarillo, Texas, Charles Carroll of Wichita, Timothy Carroll of Sedalia, Colo., and Lawrence Carroll of Wamego; four sisters, Mary Richard of Miltonvale, Janice Carroll of Colorado Springs, Colo., Genevieve Diekemper of Carlyle, Ill., and Anita Carroll of Manhattan; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Norton. Burial will be in Norcatur Cemetery.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Parish Center, Norton.
Memorials may be made to Dorothy Breiner Memorial Fund.
Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Pauls Funeral Home, 121 N. Penn, Oberlin 67749, 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Parish Center and 8 a.m. until the service Monday at the parish center.

She was born July 10, 1937, in Norton to Charles and Genevieve (Dellere) Carroll.
She was postmaster at Norcatur Post Office.

She was born July 10,1937, to Charles and Genevieve (Dellere) Carroll in Norton. She grew up on a farm east of Norton and attended Norton County School and Norton High School. On April 2, 1956, she married Reid L. Breiner in Norton. They lived on the family farm near Norcatur. She worked as a Post Master for the Norcatur Post Office. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Norton NAPUS. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Genevieve Carroll; husband, Reid L. Breiner on April 7, 1996; and one brother, Joseph Carroll. Survivors include her son, Jason Reid Breiner and wife, Staci of Norcatur; four daughters, Julie Legg and husband, Kent of McCook, Jacque Eklund and husband, Jeff of Hutchinson, Kan., Jean McMullen and husband, Brad of Norton, and Jennifer McKenna and husband, Brian of Norton; brothers, Francis Carroll and wife, Patty of Amarillo, Texas, Charles Carroll and wife, Jan of Wichita, Kan., Timothy Carroll and wife, Diana of Sedalia, Colo., and Lawrence Carroll and wife, Patty of Wamego, Kan.; sisters, Mary Richard and husband, Carl of Miltonvale, Kan., Janice Carroll of Colorado Springs, Colo., Genevieve Diekemper and husband, Ron of Carlyle Ill., and Anita Carroll of Manhattan, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.Services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m., at St.Francis Catholic Church in Norton, with the Rev.
