Teresa A. McDonough, 80, of Pleasant Valley, Fairmont passed away Saturday (Oct. 25, 2008) at Fairmont General Hospital. Though she had been in failing health, death was unexpected. Teresa was born June 3, 1928, one of four children to the late Leo and Matilda Philomenia (Crum) Kullman. Surviving are three children, Patricia Rowan and husband David of Fairmont, John Robert McDonough of Fairmont, Tre Cooper and husband Rod of Beverly, and daughter-in-law Mary Ann McDonough of Grafton. Teresa is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Carrie Heston and husband Michael of Fairmont, Stacey Crookshanks and husband Richard of Fairmont, Tracey Dickson and husband Mark of S. Charleston, Brandi Ammons and husband Jason of Morgantown, Bobby McDonough and wife Kristi of Salem, William Rodney and wife Angela of Stillwater, Okla., John Michael Cooper of Shepherdstown, Beth Davis and husband Joe of Westminster, Md., Brian Kisner of Huttonsville, and Megan McDonough of Fairmont; 12 great-grandchildren, Rayann and Kelsey Heston, Samantha, Ian and Caleb Crookshanks, Madison and Cooper Dickson, Abby and Trei McDonough, Casey and Kylee Cooper, and Brittany Davis. After graduating from St. Peters High School on June 3, 1946, Teresa went to work for C and P Telephone Co. on June 4, 1946. She worked for McDonough Brothers Inc. in 1974 and retired in 1997. She is an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court of Joan of Arc for over 50 years. In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her husband John Robert McDonough on Sept. 27, 1974 and her youngest son Thomas Michael McDonough on Aug. 1, 2001. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave., Fairmont. The recitation of the rosary will be offered by the Catholic Daughters on Tuesday afternoon. A vigil service will be Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. with Father Patsy Iaquinta officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Patsy Iaquinta as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery. On April 14, 1950, 27 year old John Robert McDonough of 435 Walnut Ave., Fairmont, WV and 22 year old Teresa Ann Kullman of 309 View Ave., Fairmont, WV applied for and were issued by the clerk of courts for Marion County, WV a marriage license. John was born on June 11, 1923 in Cumberland, MD to John I. and Anna R. McDonough. Teresea was born on June 3, 1928 in Fairmont, WV to Leo and Matilda Kullman. The license was issued on April 20, 1950 and they were married on April 22, 1950 in Fairmont, Marion Co., WV by John J. Allison, Minister.
