Born on November 21, 1921, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of John and Adelaide (Schmitt) Burkhart. She married Gene Givens on June 26, 1943, and he died on July 13, 1989. She married William B. Harvey on November 26, 1960, and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2000. Surviving are one daughter, Patricia (Givens) Adams and husband, George of Bedford, IN; one grandson Steve Adams and wife, Misty of Bedford, IN; one great-grandson, Alex Adams of Bedford, IN; one sister, Mary L. Hutton of Kingston, TN; and one step-daughter, Madlyn Bly Howard and her family of Clovis, NM. She was preceded in death by five sisters: Lola Quillen, Eva Burkhart, Anna Inman, Helen Liva, and Jane Neumeister; and one brother, Joseph Burkhart. She worked at M. Fine & Co. for fifteen years. There were graveside services for Frances Harvey at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 24th, at Green Hill Cemetery. Fr. Bernie Cox officiated. Services were under the direction of the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
