She was adopted by the Hammond family. Pam's sister, Cheryl Francine Swinehart, was also adopted by the Hammond family a few years later. --Contributor #48422959] Pamela lived in the metro area for the majority of her life. She was a 1966 graduate of Rosedale High School in KCK and attended JCCC. Pamela married Richard Robert Rankin on August 10, 1991 in KCK. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, working on home décor, planting flowers, shopping, going for coffee, playing badminton and playing on the computer. Pamela loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. Pamela is survived by her husband Richard of the home; children Dennis Eugene Dellinger, Jr. (Michelle) of Lee's Summit, MO, Heidi Lynn Dellinger (Barb Wood) of Overland Park, Ks, Timothy Paul Dellinger (Robin) of Gardner, KS and Laura Beth Kershner (Joe) of Overland Park, KS; step-son Richard Robert Rankin, Jr. of Olathe, KS; siblings Robert V. Hammond of Lake Waukomis, MO and Cheryl Francine Hammond of KCK; seven grandchildren, Gabrielle Rena and Hayley Nicole Dellinger, David Silberberg, Sebastian Alexander Blakey, Lilliann Angellyn, Journey Andel, and Phoenix Alldyn Kershner.
