Birth: Dec. 17, 1878 Maloiaroslavets' Druhyi Odes'ka, Ukraine Death: Nov. 27, 1945 Forbes Dickey County North Dakota, USA Louise KRAUSE born 17 December 1878 at Alt Posttal, Akkerman, Bessarabia, South Russia was the daughter of Gottfried KRAUSE and Christina SEPT. Louise at the age of almost 19 with her step-parents, Gottlieb and Barbara nee HELLER, FODE and their children; Gottlieb, David, Andreas, Lydia and Johann; plus her brother, David and her half-siblings; Paul, Ottilia and Gotthilf, immigrated to America via the Port of Bremen, Germany on the 9th of November 1897 aboard the SS "Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse" and arrived at the Port of New York, New York on the 17th of November 1897. The family's final destination was recorded as Kulm, LaMoure County, North Dakota. It was in North Dakota where Louise met and married Heinrich BRANDENBURGER on the 27th of December 1897. This union was blessed with 15 children; Albert, Reinhold, David, Henry, John, Nathalia, Olga, Wilhelm, Emma, Ernest, Elsie, Fred, Rachael, Benjamin and Ruth. Louise BRANDENBURGER at age 66, died in November 1945 in Dickey County, North Dakota.
