He married the former Donna Belle Smith,in 1962. They were the parents of these named children: Rodney Newcome ,of Punxsutawney; Fred Newcome, of Weippe, Idaho; Mrs.Steve [Karen] Perez,of Punxsutawney; Ralph Newcome ,of Weippe, Idaho; and Steve Newcome ,of Punxsutawney. He worked for the P&N Coal Company as an equipment operator and he was the Pastor of the Maple Grove Church of God. He passed away at Dubois Regional Medical Center. He was survived by his wife, children,eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Newcome. Friends were received at the Deeley Funeral Home,in Punxsutawney.His funeral service was held at the Chestnut Grove Independent Church,and Pastor Joe Spack officiated. Interment was made at Lakelawn Memorial Park,in Reynoldsville,Pennsylvania.
