Dwight Harshman officiating. Pallbearers were Milo Anderson, Art Kemmis, Leon Meyer, Francis McWilliams, Lloyd Radke and Leslie Sorenson. Ushers were Frank Cummins and Earl Hawley. Amy Quilling sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought" and "It is Well With My Soul," accompanied by Marian Criger. Burial was in Sidney Cemetery. Fulkerson Funeral Home as in charge of arrangements. Carol Jeanette Robinson was born June 23, 1899, near Walker, Iowa, daughter of Nelle and Lewis Brown. She moved with her family to Montana in October 1909 locating first at Sears and later on a farm northeast of Savage. She attended Washington School at Midway and graduated from Sidney High School in 1918, She attended teachers college at Glendive, Miles City and Bozeman, and taught rural schools until 1925. Her marriage to Ernest Huntington Robinson of Sidney took place at the home of her parents on Sept. 8, 1920. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson made their home northeast of Sidney for 47 years. She was a member of Lonsdale Methodist Church of Sidney, Women's Society of Christian Service, 50 year Charter Member of Ridgelawn Homemaker's Club and Senior Citizens. She died at Community Memorial Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 18, 1971. Survivors include a son, Vernon C. Robinson of Glasgow; a daughter, Mrs. George (Joyce) Sweley of Sidney; two sisters, Mrs. Allen (Vera) Darnall of Sidney and Mrs. Harry (Blanche) Shierson of San Diego, Calif., and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1967, and a brother, Lawrence, in 1969.
