Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 23, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Albert Francis officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the ion of Lunns Colonial Funeral Home. A Christian Wake will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday at Lunns Colonial Chapel. Dorothy was born September 8, 1935 in Windthorst, TX to Ben and Josephine Koetter. She and Clyde Honkomp were married June 1, 1957 in Windthorst. She was the former owner of Honkomp Welding and Machine. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde in 2001 and by 1 brother, Joe Koetter and 2 sisters, Marian Koetter and Irma Jackson. Survivors include 5 children, Stephen Honkomp of Wichita Falls, Timothy Honkomp and wife Becky of Burkburnett, Chris Honkomp and wife Donna of Cedar Park, TX, Mark Honkomp and wife Silvia of Wichita Falls, Cindy Huckabee and husband Vince of Wichita Falls, 1 brother, Thomas Koetter of Dallas, TX, 4 sisters, Bertha Kile of Wichita Falls, Ida Toth of Wichita Falls, Florine Costello of Channahon, IL, and Mary Myers of Seymour, TX, 9 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
