Christine Brockel
Christine Brockel nee Kallenberger died alive with her faith in redemption, October 22, 1927, at 62 years and six days. Cause of death was listed as Chronic Gastritis. She was born October 16, 1865, at Franzfeld, South Russia. She was married to Plillip Brockel in 1888 and came with him to America that same year where they were often saddened at Mound City, South Dakota.
Nine of 18 children went to their everlasting life before her, while five sons and four daughters, and her loving husband are left to mourn, as well as one sister, two brothers, and 22 grandchildren.
She was converted in 1891 and baptized by Reverend A. Fenske. God comforts and blesses all mourners left behind.
