Born April 23, 1924, the daughter of Michael and Jennie (Gordon) Figmick. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Rayford; and an infant sister. Survived by daughter, Jean, wife of Allen Custer; son, Glenn "Sonny," married to the former Marie Kohan, both of Central City; grandchildren, David, Gregory and Michael Custer; Amy Lynn Lasut; and Mark Landis; and great-grandchildren, Cole Robert and Olivia Grace. Sister of Michael, Cairnbrook. Also survived by loving caregivers, Dianna Coleman, Jennifer Jarvis, Lori Wojcik and Nancy Purdy. A longtime Sunday school teacher at the Central City United Methodist Church. Part owner and operator of Landis Sunoco, a business she was involved in for many years with her husband, Slim. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mulcahy Funeral Home and from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Central City United Methodist Church, Pastor Randy Newell officiating. Interment, Daley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made to the Central City United Methodist Church in Mary Ellen's memory. Family links: Parents: Michael J.
